Melbourne Chapter of Australian GS Society, possible National Conference 4 Months ago
Hello all,

On the 8th of October, 2009 the 2nd meeting of the Melbourne Chapter of the Australian General Semantics Society took place in a small cafe in Federation Square in the middle of the city. Although the group was small, it was presided over by Mr. Robert James, President of the AGS and Mr. Laurie Cox, President Emeritus of AGS.

A summary write up of our discussions can be found here.

Among the topics was that of a possible AGS National Conference to be held tentatively in February 2010. We should hope to hold a 3 day seminar, opening one day exclusively to the public. We hope to involve the Institute and as many international affiliates as possible.

Crushtor,

I would like to add a link to the Melbourne Chapter's website if you have one. Barring that, would you tell me your name so I can link to your blog from the IGS website (assuming that interests you). I imagine it would interest others.

Hello,

The Melbourne Chapter doesn't have an official website at the moment, but I endeavor to write up a summary of our activities on my blog when we meet.

Here's a link to my blog that displays only the General Semantics posts. The blog itself carries a mixed bag of topics

Thanks Ben!
