Judging a Country by a Person 1 Month, 1 Week ago

Of course I don't know the whole story, but I think Nigeria's Information Minister Dora Akunyili has a point.

"It is unfair to discriminate against over 150 million people because of the behaviour of one person," said the minister.

Would you agree?

Of course he has a point but I wouldn't use the word 'unfair' except in the context of games. Life is not a game and we need to learn how to navigate through it as best we can. I could say the same thing about the requirement for passports that Canadians now need to enter the US but rather than say it's unfair I just don't go there anymore. Actions speak louder than words.

Wow, Thomas, I never realized the workings of the game metaphor when talking about life's fairness. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

LOL, I've been catching that 'fair' thing for many years now. I often point it out to people.
