AKML and Symposium 1 Year, 3 Months ago
The Information and Registration Form for the Alfred Korzybski Memorial Lecture and dinner on November 14th have been on our home page for some time now, and Ben just added a link to the schedule for the Symposium on November 15th and 16th. I hope you will attend, and even if you can't make it, please take a look and see what we're up to these days!

The full program for the AKML and symposium can now be downloaded as a PDF in place of the schedule.

I hope you will attend. Tonight Douglas Rushkoff speaks as our Alfred Korzybski Memorial Lecturer at the Princeton Club. Saturday and Sunday, we have the symposium titled "Creating the Future: Conscious Time-Binding for a Better Tomorrow" at Fordham University's campus near Columbus Circle.

For the complete program, click here:

You should see me there pretty much all weekend.

Cheers!
Ben

Re:AKML and Symposium 1 Year, 2 Months ago
Just got home last nite (also apparently Snoop Doggie Dogg (nigh certainly him) and Cameron Diaz (~80 % likely her) whom I saw waiting for their rides to pick them up from Burbank airport.

Am exhausted but am starting to sort out stuff and pick up loose ends from the Symposium and the other stuff I was doing in NYC (archival research for the Korzybski biography). I'll write more on it later, here and elsewhere. Right now too tired to say much coherently except that for me the Symposium constituted a huge success. The Institute is in good hands. Kudos to y'all who worked to make it happen.

I have uploaded Robert Barry Francos's photos from the weekend.

You can find a link to the photos in the Recent News section, entry 11/17/2008 ...

www.generalsemantics.org/index.php/discov/recent-news.html#11172008

Or, just use this link to go directly to the three pages of photos:
