GS, the Institute, and the AKML and Symposium to be featured on Connecticut Public Radio 1 Year, 3 Months ago
I've convinced the folks at the Connecticut Public Radio program, Where We Live, hosted by John Dankowsky, to devote one of their programs to general semantics, the Institute, and the upcoming Alfred Korzybski Memorial Lecture and Creating the Future Symposium. So, this coming Tuesday morning, from 9-10 AM, they will be featuring me as Executive Director and Bill Petkanas as ETC editor, and then bring on Douglas Rushkoff as the AKML speaker. The program will end with a call-in segment.

So it would be great to have folks in Connecticut tune in live, and to have callers who are familiar with GS, the Institute and its history, especially the Lakeville years. My understanding is that the program is broadcast on several CT stations, and can also be heard across the water on Long Island.

It will also be possible to listen to it live on the web at their website: http://www.cpbn.org/program/where-we-live

I think they may rebroadcast the show a second time in the evening. And the show will be permanently archived on their website.

The show went very well, I thought, and you can listen to it now online at

There's a great picture of Bill Petkanas on the page now, as well.
